Hey {{first_name|there}},

The Play

If you met someone at a conference last week, a useful follow-up can be as simple as sending the resource you discussed or returning to a question you both wanted to explore. Start with two or three conversations you’d like to continue, and write a short note that gives each person enough context to remember the exchange. If you’re asking for a call or an introduction, explain what you have in mind. You don’t need to follow up with everyone, and you don’t need to turn every conversation into a meeting.

The score

The Score is a short rundown of local product and company news worth knowing this week. Here are five that stood out.

  • Predigy seeks Nevada approval for Predigy Edge. The Reno gaming technology company submitted its company registration to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Its proposed product would let licensed sportsbooks offer yes-or-no sports wagers alongside traditional odds-based betting. The submission is not an approval. Separately, Kalshi’s co-founder told the Review-Journal that prediction markets are not sportsbooks, as the company continues its legal fight over state regulation. via GlobeNewswire · via Review-Journal

  • Senzing adds a connector for Claude. The Las Vegas company’s identity technology is now available through Anthropic’s Claude Connectors Directory. It helps teams identify when records refer to the same person or organization, giving AI agents more consistent information to work with. via Business Wire · via Las Vegas Sun

  • LittleHorse releases Saddle Command Center 1.3. The Las Vegas company’s latest update adds controls for AI agents, deployment without writing code, and a free Serverless trial. The tools are intended to help teams manage agent workflows without setting up their own infrastructure. via SiliconANGLE · via CRN

  • Resorts World uses AI to monitor high-limit table games. The casino is using video analysis to flag possible dealer errors or cheating on existing camera feeds. Surveillance staff receive clips of about seven seconds to review. The property works with several vendors, including EagleSight. via Las Vegas Sun

  • Forge Industries plans a North Las Vegas trash-to-fuel plant. The company is advancing what it calls the first U.S. facility to turn hard-to-recycle waste into engineered coal-replacement fuel, an about $18 million, 105,000-square-foot project aimed at operating by the end of 2027. Next Phase Capital co-led a $3.85 million investment. via Review-Journal
